2024 was a significant year for Fresca, being its 150th anniversary. It all began when founder Matthew Mack wheeled his barrow of fresh produce into the original Covent Garden Market all those years ago.
Chairman, Chris Mack, said “We attribute our impressive tenure and achievements to two important components. Firstly, our PEOPLE – the passion, dedication, innovation and resilience from literally thousands of colleagues across the years, has been the driving force behind everything we’ve achieved. We simply would not be the successful organisation we are today without them.”
He continued, “And secondly, our PARTNERSHIPS – we have formed arguably some of the strongest partnerships in the industry, and certainly some of the longest! The shared vision we’ve cultivated with our customers, growers, suppliers and corporate partners have been the foundation of our success.”
The event saw the coming together of a number of representatives from those key partnerships – colleagues both past and present, growers and suppliers, long term customers, and industry representatives to celebrate the occasion.
As our Chairman Chris Mack remarked “Getting our first 150 years under our belts”. And to thank them FOR BEING A PART OF OUR STORY.

The anniversary event brought together representatives from across those key partnerships, including colleagues past and present, growers and suppliers, long-standing customers and industry representatives, all coming together to mark the occasion.
Chris Mack remarked it was good to “Get our first 150 years under our belts,” while thanking everyone for being a part of Fresca’s story.
