Mack Wholesale
Wholesale is where our story began – our founder, Matthew Mack first wheeled his fresh produce stall into the original Covent Garden Market in 1874. 4 generations on, Matthew’s great-grandson Chris Mack is Fresca’s Chairman.
Through our network of branches, we supply a core range of fresh fruit, vegetables, salads, exotics and flowers sourced both from the UK and around the world. Our customers range from independent retailers to hotels and restaurants, cruise line operators, caterers, food service companies and small retail changes.

The Avocado Company
The increase in avocado demand in recent years has been both remarkable and sustained. A more health-conscious consumer is looking for a versatile product, but the complexity of these delicate fruits means it takes a specialist company to fulfil high volumes and maintain quality.
Fresca formed The Avocado Company in 2018 with a focus on driving forward category performance for customers, sourcing quality fruit that’s sustainably grown and handled in the most efficient, shortest supply route possible.
In 2024, a brand new Avocado Centre of Excellence was opened – a £3.5m state-of-the-art ripening centre which uses a hybrid of technologies combining the latest controlled atmosphere technologies with ‘smart’ algorithm-based controls.

Fresh Clear provides a comprehensive and independent customs agency service to Fresca Group companies and external clients. The experienced team has expertise in logistics and customs clearance for the produce industry and they also service businesses dealing with a range of other commodities.

DGM Growers
DGM Growers are farmers, marketers and importers. Growing seasonal field crops like chard, courgettes, celeriac and fennel from the farm in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, they also use hydroponic growing methods for chicory, Pak Choi and other whole head leaves. The company offers a portfolio of over 15 different products, many of which can be offered all year round.

Britain’s leading glasshouse complex sits proudly within the landscape of East Kent. These enormous glasshouses produce around 400 million tomatoes, 30 million cucumbers and 24 million peppers each year.

Lincolnshire-based Manor Fresh are a specialist supplier of potatoes and vegetables to UK retailer Marks & Spencer. Manor Fresh operates as a joint venture between Fresca and A H Worth & Co.
The business has a strong focus on potatoes, with a growing interest in vegetables – both conventionally grown and organic. The core of the operation is to work with the very best potato and vegetable growers to ensure excellent quality, delicious flavour and reliability for customers who demand a premium product.

Cartama Europe
Cartama Europe is a joint venture, between Colombian avocado grower Cartama and Fresca Group, that seeks to revolutionise the Hass avocado market in the UK and Europe with Colombian exports.
Traditionally, avocado growers for the European market are located in areas such as Spain, South Africa and Peru, where the harvests are restricted to very narrow windows of supply, creating seasonal quality challenges.
As one of the largest Hass Avocado growers in Colombia, Cartama has developed an incredible 11 month harvest period, which means the difficult supply periods, across the shoulder seasons, can be smoothed out.

Fresca Spain is our team based in the key salad and veg growing area of Almeria in Southern Spain. They are our in-country experts on the ground, close to the sources of excellent produce grown for us there.

The Custom Plum Company
The Custom Plum Company (CPC) was established in 2015 as a joint partnership between Unlimited Group and Fresca Group, ultimately combining both companies’ material and technical strengths.
Bringing innovation to the stone fruit industry is central to CPC’s vision. Since 2002, they have been using the Zaiger Genetics breeding program to position themselves at the forefront of new varietal development.
