Fresca formed The Avocado Company in 2018 with a focus on driving forward category performance for customers, sourcing quality fruit that’s sustainably grown and handled in the most efficient, shortest supply route possible. In 2024, a brand new Avocado Centre of Excellence was opened – a £3.5m state-of-the-art ripening centre which uses a hybrid of technologies combining the latest controlled atmosphere technologies with ‘smart’ algorithm-based controls.
