The Custom Plum Company (CPC) was established in 2015 as a joint partnership between Unlimited Group and Fresca Group, ultimately combining both companies’ material and technical strengths.
Bringing innovation to the stone fruit industry is central to CPC’s vision. Since 2002, they have been using the Zaiger Genetics breeding program to position themselves at the forefront of new varietal development.

Custom Plum is unique in that they are involved throughout the process, from varietal selection until the exporter becomes involved during the picking and packing process.
The team has a wealth of pre and post-harvest expertise – from selecting potential new varieties to evaluating each variety and planting the first trial blocks at strategic locations. Once the trees are in the ground, they work closely with growers to provide comprehensive technical support.
CPC is always at the forefront of pushing boundaries of flavour, sweetness and appearance to produce exceptional new fruit varieties of Pluots, Plumcots, Cherryplums and Aprium. Always striving for a consistently better eating experience for the customer.
Passionate about bringing a constant source of fresh stone fruit varieties to market, CPC works closely with Zaiger’s Inc Genetics, to ensure this continuous flow of material. From ranges of ‘ultra-late plums’, to red-fleshed varieties boasting high anti-oxidant levels, black plums with brilliant yellow flesh and even sweet and tangy Cherryplums. CPC offers a true point of difference and an exceptional eat every time.
