For our company, wholesale is where our story began – Matthew Mack first wheeled his stand into the original Covent Garden Market in 1874. 4 generations later, a member of the Mack family – Matthew’s great-grandson Christopher, our Chairman – still resides at the helm of our business today.
Through our branch network we supply a core range of fresh fruit, vegetables, salads and exotics sourced from the UK and from growers around the world. Our customers range from independent retailers to hotels and restaurants, cruise line operators, caterers, food service companies and small retail chains.

Our wholesale market branches in Bristol, Southampton and Birmingham are still rooted in tradition – working through the night, setting their customers up for a successful day’s trading themselves. It’s a world where business is undertaken by people passionate about offering great quality products at very competitive prices.
Mack Bristol is located on the historic Bristol Wholesale Fruit Centre near Temple Meads Station. The team supplies customers as far south as Cornwall, right across the rest of the South West and well into Wales.
Mack Birmingham is very close to the city centre, and with the M6 just moments away. Customers range from independent caterers and restaurants through to hotels, shops, market traders, chain stores, food service companies, schools and everyone in between.
The Southampton branch is located on the Nursling Industrial Estate, within easy reach of the motorway network and strategically close to the UK’s busiest cruise port, Southampton, and not far from the Portsmouth International Port.
