For a second year, Fresca Group sponsored the Rising Star Award at the annual FPC Awards.
Talking about the awards, Chairman Chris Mack said “This award shines a spotlight on individuals who are making waves early in their careers, bringing fresh thinking and fearless ambition to the world of produce.
Fresca started sponsoring this award in its 150th anniversary year, in 2024. Founded in 1874 by Matthew Mack, it’s remained privately owned throughout that time – Chris Mack is the 4th generation Mack family member at the helm – he continued “It remains one of our company’s strongest beliefs that it’s our people that make the difference, every day.”
“We felt it therefore pertinent that the longest running fresh produce business in the UK shines a light on the newest talent joining our sector – their journey is just beginning, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
This year’s award went to a very deserving graduate at MDS, Tanya Peters. Huge congratulations, Tanya.
